For me, this quote encapsulates what my artistic life is all about. Part of the fun for me is that my work is constantly evolving as I find inspiration in new techniques and ideas. Big skies, the wonderful seasonal changes we see in England, a favourite landscape and interesting faces are also inspirations for me and capturing them in both representational and abstract ways is what fires my imagination. Painting is an important part of my life and has become increasingly so in recent years.

Abstract painting is a more recent adventure for me and the way that an abstract painting evolves and surprises is a source of joy for me.
